Only on year four. To be won by the Irish, but that's hardly rocket science.

    Evidence

2023 - A good race. The third winner of this to arrive in tip-top form. The JP first string took it from Allegorie De Vassy (fav) Great winner for Colm Murphy and Brian Hayes. Two BFS last time didn't feature, Willie's three finished 2nd, 5th and 7th. Pink Legend 33s placed for second consecutive year.

2022 - Mark Walsh gets Elimay up for his second winner of the week. She herself had been second to Colreevy in 2021. Not much to pick between herself Pink Legend 33s (one helluva week for Venetia) and Scarlet And Dove 28s. Concertista 2/1 fav disappointed but I'm sure Willie was happy enough with five winners on the day. Elimay carried 11-2.

2021 - Well, it was a Festival mares event after all. Willie saddled 4 of the 11 and had a 1-2 but with Coolreevy in her penultimate ever run and not with Elimay. A game winner, Colreevy was punted all day down to 9/4 with the jolly in second started an unexpected odds against 6/5. It was close. Willie had a 1-2-4 with Shattered Love finishing a respectable third for Cullentra.

Colreevy as a G1 winner carried a penalty and 11-7. In the three renewals JP has had four runners, two winners, a second and a fifth.
